PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Charter Township of AuSable Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on AUGUST 26, at 6:00 p.m., via zoom, (phone number: 989-739-9169), for the purpose of considering the application of Jeff Taylor, 3511 N. US 23, AuSable, MI 48750 for a proposed microbrewery.

The public is invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Please be advised that the Applicant’s application, as well as the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, may be examined at the Township Hall at the address stated above, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please also be advised that written comments concerning the Applicant’s application will be received and considered by the Planning Commission. Written comments should be provided by either submitting them during the public hearing or mailing them to the Township Hall at the address stated above for receipt by the time of the public hearing.
NOTICE OF INTRODUCTION AND POSTING OF PROPOSED CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF AUSABLE ORDINANCE AND NOTICE OF CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF AUSABLE BOARD MEETING
TAKE NOTICE that on the 3rd day of August, 2020, a proposed ordinance (Charter Township of AuSable Ordinance No. 113 was introduced during a regular meeting of the Township Board of the Charter Township of AuSable. The proposed ordinance, if subsequently adopted by the Township Board at a future meeting, will amend Charter Township of AuSable Ordinance 113, which is an ordinance that authorizes and regulates the establishment of medical marihuana facilities in accordance with the Michigan Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act. The proposed ordinance changes the maximum number of medical marihuana facilities that are allowed in the Township, by allowing up to 2 medical marihuana growers, up to 2 medical marihuana processors, up to 2 medical marihuana secure transporters, up to 1 medical marihuana provisioning center, and up to 2 medical marihuana safety compliance facilities. The Charter Township of AuSable Zoning Ordinance will continue to address the zoning districts in which each type of allowable medical marihuana facility may be located. The proposed ordinance is presently posted for public viewing at the Charter Township of AuSable offices located at 4420 N. US 23, AuSable, Michigan 48750, and may also be viewed on the Township’s website, www.ausabletownship.net. The proposed ordinance will be presented to the Township Board during a regular meeting on the 7th day of September, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., and the Township Board will consider adopting the proposed ordinance at that time. If the Township Board adopts the ordinance at that time, the ordinance will take effect immediately upon publication of a notice of adoption of the ordinance as required by law.
